H1B CASE COLLECTION
Dedicated to Providing Professional and Efficient Services
The H1B application season has finally come to an end! Following the initial wave of excitement in June, the “lucky stars” in August and September continued to shine, with many successful applicants securing their spots. While you’ve probably seen plenty of successful cases with standard processes, today we’ll share some unconventional success stories in H1B applications!
Precise Calculation of Time Outside the U.S. Helping Client Extend Visa Validity
Ms. Z began working in the U.S. on an H1B visa starting October 1, 2021. However, since she had not yet submitted her I-140 application, her H1B extension was only valid until September 30, 2027. To help Ms. Z secure more time on her H1B, we carefully calculated the time she had spent outside the U.S. since 2021 and successfully extended her H1B validity by over 80 days. This extension allowed Ms. Z more time to complete the necessary procedures during her future visa transitions.

No Issue with H1B Status Interruption Successful Return to the U.S. and Extension of Status
Ms. L was successfully selected in the H1B lottery in 2020 and worked in the U.S. under H1B status from October 2020 to April 2021. Due to personal reasons, she returned to China in April 2021 and has been residing outside the U.S. Since then, Ms. L found an ideal job opportunity in the U.S. in 2024 and wished to return to continue working under H1B status. She sought our assistance, and we submitted a new H1B application for her. The application was successfully approved, enabling her to return to the U.S. and continue her career development.

Ms. S’s Successful H1B Approval Even Small Startups Can Get Approved
Ms. S was successfully selected in the H1B lottery. Her petitioner was a small company that had only been established for a year and had only one employee—herself. To ensure the application went smoothly, we conducted in-depth discussions with the company’s owner and learned that he also operated four other small businesses. After negotiations, we submitted a company organizational chart to USCIS, clearly outlining the company’s operational model and development plans. This helped Ms. S successfully obtain her H1B approval.

Successful H1B Transfer with Premium Processing: Mr. Z and His Wife Both Successfully Approved and Quickly Started Their Jobs
Mr. Z is our H1B transfer client. Due to the urgency of his job start date, the transfer process had to be expedited. After receiving Mr. Z’s materials, we prepared all the necessary documents as quickly as possible. Additionally, Mr. Z’s wife, Ms. N, also needed to start work promptly. Therefore, while expediting Mr. Z’s H1B transfer with premium processing, we simultaneously submitted an H4 extension and EAD card application for Ms. N. Within less than two weeks, both Mr. Z and Ms. N received their approval notices and were able to start their jobs without delay.

Two Years of Persistence Leads to Success: Mr. F Successfully Transitioned from CPT to H1B
After Mr. F exhausted his STEM OPT in 2022 and was not selected in the H1B lottery, he had to continue working under CPT status. This year, Mr. F was finally selected in the H1B lottery. We swiftly prepared and submitted all the necessary materials, ultimately helping Mr. F secure his H1B approval.
